City and urbanism are at the core of what Moussem Nomadic Arts Centre does. In this second edition of the Moussem Cities festival we enter into a dialogue with Beirut and introduce you to its fascinating contemporary artistic scene. From 2 to 18 February, together with our Brussels partners we present a program brimming with encounters, concerts, literature, exhibitions and film. Through the work of the next generation of Lebanese artists and established writers and thinkers, we offer a glimpse of this exciting metropolis at the center of a region under pressure.
For many years now, Moussem Nomadic Arts Centre has been supporting, promoting, producing and presenting artists linked to the Arab world, in collaboration with many Belgian and international partner organizations. Since 2015 Moussem is based in Brussels. The Moussem Cities festival is one of its yearly events. After the success of the first edition that focused on Tunis, we invite you to discover the creative power and urban dynamics of Beirut.
