Dancer, performer and choreographer Youness Khoukhou studied at P.A.R.T.S. and collaborated as a dancer or performer in Claire Croizé's performances 'Primitive' and 'Evol' and danced I in Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker's repertory project 'ReZeitung'. He collaborated and danced in Louise Vanneste's performances 'Therians' and 'Clearing', Bouchra Ouizgen's 'Elephant' and was co-creator and performer in the performance 'Move (on)' by STAN, Kloppernd Hert and Moussem. He also dances in the performances '7' and 'Libya' by contemporary Radouan Mriziga.
As a choreographer, he creates his first performance 'Becoming' in 2015. In 2018, he created the solo performance 'Noon'.
Besides his practice as an artist, he is also active as a teacher. As a guest lecturer, he was associated with KASK School of Arts Ghent, ISAC (Institut Supérieur des Arts et Chorégraphies) in Brussels and coached projects in Morocco at Arabesque in Meknes and Espace Darja in Casablanca. He is a 'faculty member' at P.A.R.T.S. and worked as a choreographic consultant with Jolente de Keersmaeker on the performance 'Klytaimnḗstra in Elefsina'.
In 2023, he developed the performance Naked Journey around the question: "What is the body beyond "references" of colour and origin, beyond a style and inherited codes? Beyond the culture and trends that shape the body?" Khoukhou performed Naked Journey at a.pass — de Bottelarij on 13 and 14 October 2023, as part of the program of MOUSSEM STAGES.
