Chrystèle Kodr is writer, director and actress and studied theatre in Beirut and Brussels. Waël Ali is also a theatre-maker and writer and studied in Damascus and Lyon. Their meeting in 2013 and their subsequent correspondence regarding an old cassette recording from 1976 of the story of Kodr’s uncle has resulted in their collaborating on ‘Temporary Stay’, a creation prepared in residency at Moussem and presented during Moussem Cities Damascus.
