Danya Hammoud is a choreographer and performer from Beirut. She followed theatre studies in Beirut, and dance in Angers and Paris.Her performances have been presented at many international festivals and venues: Mahalli (2011), Mes mains sont plus âgées que moi (2014), Il y a longtemps que je n'ai pas été aussi calme (2016),and To rest on a slope (2017). Currently she is also working on Bootlegged, a collaboration with South-African choreographer Boyzie Cekwana.
In 2014 Moussem presents her solo performance 'Mahalli' as part of Dansdubbel, a collaboration with CC Berchem. In 2016 she is artist in residence at Moussem as part of the co-production 'Il y a longtemps que je n'ai pas été aussi calme'. During the 2019/2020 season, Moussem supports the creation 'Sérénités'.
