Chrystel Mukeba

Chrystel Mukeba, born in Brussels, studied photography at the Académie Royale des Beaux-Arts in Brussels (ARBA-ESA). Her work focuses on intimacy and her relationship with loved ones. Recurring themes in her photography include death, the fear of loss, and the desire to capture people and moments.

Mukeba seeks to capture the fragility and value of a moment or detail through images that freeze time. In her portraits and scenes of everyday life, she aims to preserve the fleeting nature of the moment.
