Saadallah Wannous' work has been translated into French, English, Spanish and Hebrew among other languages and it is staged from Beirut to New York and from Seoul to Paris. His play Rituel pour une métamorphose was the first ever Arabic script to be included in the Comédie Française’s repertoire. A year before he died he was invited by UNESCO to address the theatre world on the International Day of the Theatre.
